String Tools
Tune it, hear it, find the right gut string
Tune any gut-strung instrument with your microphone, listen to how each string should sound, or work out the gauge for a note, the note a gauge will give, or the tension it will pull. Every result can be ordered as a custom gauge from our workshop in India.
Use it to tune by ear, or press Start tuner and play your string.
Recordings from the tonejs-instruments sample library, CC BY 3.0, trimmed and pitch-corrected by Global Gut.
